The FL416 is an engineered blend specifically for indoor and outdoor baseball fields. The FL416 contains a thatch that helps hold the sand/rubber infill into the turf providing reduced flyout on ball and athletic impact; while providing a most realistic/stable surface for the baseball performance.
The blended yarn combination is important for baseball specific performance and provides excellent durability necessary for high traffic areas in indoor sports and outdoor athletic fields.
The stock FL416 is a 65oz product, and is available in clay/brown color for infield/base areas and base path designs.
The FL416 will accept up to 1.5lbs of rubber and 1.5lbs of silica sand per sq. ft. to achieve proper performance standards.
